These life-sized dinos will be stomping through the Come and Take It Celebration all Sunday long — dancing to live music, judging the car show, and (probably) sneaking a few snacks from the cook-off.

Daughters of the Republic of Texas Annual Memorial Service

This memorial stands in tribute to Green DeWitt, Empresario and founder of the DeWitt Colony, whose leadership helped shape the early settlement of Gonzales and surrounding areas. Alongside him, we honor Sarah Seely DeWitt, a Texas patriot and matriarch whose legacy includes the crafting of the now-iconic "Come and Take It" flag — sewn by her and her daughter, Naomi, in defense of liberty.

Shiner Hobo Band
